EMEA Algorithmic Trading Analyst/Developer (Algorithmic, Implementation Shortfall, VWAP, C++, Java, SQL, KDB)-London-Circa 80,000 + significant bonus package


Tier 1 Investment bank known for their innovative approach and significant global reach are seeking an ambitious individual to join their industry leading Algorithmic Trading team.  Due to increased trading activity, they are looking to hire an outstanding technologist able to work with the traders in a demanding trading floor environment. You will need to use your technology skills as well as be confident in picking up key finance and trading knowledge, and be comfortable adding value to a high profile investment team. Candidate with an interest in investment, and wanting to be seen as part of ‘the business' will be suited to this team.

Required skills:
-Efficient in algorithmic/numerical programming in C++ or Java,
-Expertise in time series data analysis,
-Familiarity with Database architecture-SQL or KDB,
-Strong Quantitative background,
-Good understanding of trading technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
-Developing trading signals, tactics and strategies.
-Back testing of models, market impact analysis, trading cost analysis
-Performance monitoring and attribution,

The person:
-Multi-tasking, lateral thinking and ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment.
-Excellent team, communication and organisational skills.

Primarily, a strong multi-tasker who is efficient in Algorithmic/Numerical Programming in either C++ or Java is most important to the client.
